This song was written by my friend Dave for his band Effervescent who were local heroes of the music scene when we were kids. He also had a band called The Sweet Hereafter which incidentally was who I released my first EP with as a split between us two when I was 17 which contained the first METH songs ever written. Years later we had a band together called Dear You which I loved, we did this song but full band. It's always been one of my favourite songs since I was a teenager.

The recording was done live and the piano bit in the bridge i played with my toes on an iPad which took a while to get.
